JOYCE MEYER: AN EXAMPLE OF OVERCOMING





There will be no emotional wound that cannot be healed, if you want; this is the Joyce Meyer’s example whose experience helps others to recover their hope and life despite their suffering.



Joyce has suffered sexual abuse by her father during the childhood; it has resulted in emotional disorders, such as low self-esteem, depression, desire of death, anger, bitterness, guilt, negative perspective of life; however, she has learned to rebuild her applying God’s Word to her life in order to forgive her father and nurture healthy relationship.


She has founded the Joyce Meyer Ministries and today she shares her experience, teaching on a number of topics with a particular focus on the mind, mouth, moods and attitudes in a biblical and psychological perspective.



Joyce hosts a TV and radio show called “Enjoying Everyday Life”, which broadcasts worldwide to a potential audience of 4.5 billion people; she shares his experience in a funny, open and practical way so that the people may visualize themselves in the given examples on the daily life, chiefly about how we manage our mind and thoughts to relate better with other people.


Besides, the focus of her ministry is to share God’s love and the life-changing message of the Bible with the world through TV, radio, books, the internet, various media productions, live conferences and missions, feeding the hungry, clothing the poor and ministering to the elderly, widows and orphans.



Her foundation also combats the human trafficking and maintains disaster reliefs, medical missions, children’s homes, etc.


To sum up, she is an example that a person can overcome deep problems and influence the world, helping others.
